About God'schoice

Hello! I’m God’schoice, an English tutor with a B.A. in English and Literary Studies, classroom teaching experience, and a genuine passion for helping young learners discover their confidence in English. I specialise in 11+ preparation, Primary and KS3 English, supporting students with reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and creative writing. I particularly enjoy helping learners who feel that English is “difficult” discover that, with the right explanation and plenty of guided practice, they can actually become very good at it. My lessons are personalised, interactive and encouraging. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges and goals, then adapt my teaching to suit them. Rather than simply giving students answers, I guide them to understand why an answer works and how they can apply the skill independently. I also create my own lesson plans, worksheets, comprehension passages, writing activities and exam-style practice, so lessons can be tailored rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. As a published author, I have a particular love for creative writing and helping students express their ideas with clarity, imagination and confidence. Whether you are preparing for the 11+, strengthening your school English, or simply looking to become a more confident reader and writer, I’d love to help you make real progress—and enjoy the journey along the way.
