School of Nursing Abia State University Teaching Hospital, Aba

The School of Nursing, ABSUTH, is a state-owned nursing training institution in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. Established in 1948 by the British colonialists, it passed to the Eastern Region in 1963 and then to Abia State ownership, taking on its current name after the Abia State University Teaching Hospital was established in 1994. It offers NMCN-approved basic general nursing and post-basic nursing/midwifery programmes.
